It took forever, but I finally figured out how to personalize my Etsy shop banner. Not sure I'm in love with it, but at least it's my photo and not just a general border. This was NOT as easy as it looks. hehe

Gray Inside and Gray Outside ... Sigh
Going through a rough patch. My latest Etsy photo should feel uplifting, but today it only makes me feel cold and alone. Beauty with sadness for today, I guess.

"Lying Red On The Sidewalk" - Hearts for Haiti
Please take a look at my submission: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39535939
and all the other beautiful handmade items in the Hearts for Haiti shop. All proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders. Thank you.
I took this shot last summer. There's a funeral home across the street. I watched the flower-covered hearse pull away and saw this one bright red carnation lying on the ground like a spot of blood. It made me cry.

Blech
Tried to shoot today but it's so gray and dirty and dead outside, I was left uninspired. I can't wait for spring and color and life. Sigh.

Glass Swirl
I love the swirl in this glass plate. I cross processed it to mellow out the colors and softened it to give it a dreamy quality.

Face in the Wind
Just listed this on Etsy. It's one of my favs from the summer. Bought this windchime for my mom a long time ago. Went outside and saw it hanging there and it just looked so alive. I was psyched I got the angle I wanted.

My latest Etsy Upload -- Winter Colors in New England
I'm so excited that I managed to catch the gorgeous sky I caught last weekend at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA. It's available in my Etsy shop (see sidebar) if you'd like a print.

Blue and Gray and Red All Over
Strange times in the Bay State today. Change is in the air and its color is red. Making me feel a little blue. The sky is gray and the city is dirty with winter.
Bare trees and sky and twisty branches are my latest obsession. I'll have to fool around with a few of these later and see if I can come up with something.

Taking the Leap ...
Just getting things set up. Might have to do a little rearranging. In the meantime, check out my Etsy shop and let me know what you think. Nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that rot.
